Research conducted in Australia suggests that frequent consuming of chocolate was associated with improved brain function. Persons who often consume chocolate have better results on tests of visual and spatial memory, organization skills and abstract thinking, a survey by scientists from the University of Australia which used data collected from 968 respondents.
According to researchers, this fact can be attributed to the positive effect of antioxidant flavonoids found in chocolate.
Expert magazine “Appetit,” wrote that flavonoids are associated with a positive effect on heart health.
However, these results are valid for black chocolate contains a large amount of cocoa, not milk chocolate.
